The Prince’s Cactus

It’s the 21st century already, and yet, there’s still someone referred to as a “Prince”!? Born to a small European country, his mother is of royalty there. His father on the other hand, heir to prosperous European shipping industry, is a descendant of Queen Victoria. Since birth, Elian has been groomed to be the crown prince, filled with natural confidenceā€¦(Then again, he could have been born this way). To put it bluntly, he’s an arrogant person. Dania, on the other hand, is a girl whose father has left her for another woman, and she has to work for a living. However, her sister gets married to Elian’s father, and she attends the wedding in Greece. There she meets him for the first time…

Avelys Rating: 8/10

Avelys Note: I really loved this main female lead. She is strong, bad ass and knows what she wants. I thought this story about a girl whipping a prince into shape was extremely fun to read. This story was short and sweet but it was lovely. There are times when you wish a manga was longer (although not ridiculously long like Skip Beat) and that’s when you know something is good. There wasn’t too much in depth character development, but for a light read it was fine. The art style is very pretty. I highly recommend if you like those strong opinionated female girls and a fun romantic read.
