Candy’s Score: 8/10

Candy’s Notes: I had a hell of a time choosing images for this because they literally all look that freaking beautiful! Like it’s not even funny. For a total art junkie like me, this manhwa is better than sex! Seriously, out of all of the ones I’ve read, this one still contains the best art. It’s too visually appealing ;——; Okay enough about me losing my mind about the art. This manhwa is still being translated and I’m not completely caught up to where it is translated to, but 92 chapters in, I think I’m qualified to talk about it. Biggest issue I’m going to get out of the way right now, the length. As much as I love staring at the art, this is about to become a serious issue. 92 chapters in, and it feels like they could wrap the story up at any time, but there’s 178 chapters all together. See the problem? The dragging is going to become so real. But before that happens, dear god I enjoy this manga. The plot they introduced is the typical power struggle one, but I don’t mind that at all. I’m too busy squealing over the romance. It’s a mature, sweet, and visually stunning treat! There were some things that were totally unnecessary that got dragged out and some new elements that are starting that I feel are totally unnecessary. There’s a large cast of gods in this one, and it gets a bit hard to keep up, just because some do not show themselves often enough. They do give us back stories on some of the characters to flesh them out though, making remembering them a bit easier. If you’re okay with long, drawn out stories with amazing art, a good romance and a interesting plot, read this. I was straight hooked for a while. Like getting to chapter 92 took no time at all for me. The only reason I stopped was because I got busy with school and moved on, so don’t be deterred by the dragging that’s yet to come.
