Fifteen-year-old country girl Suzume Yosano has to move to Tokyo to live with her uncle due to her father’s transfer. She bumps into a mysterious man who ends up taking her to her uncle’s place after she gets lost. Turns out, Suzume will be seeing him a lot more often once she starts school because… he’s her homeroom teacher?!
I couldn’t help but feel a deja vu when I read this manga. I wonder if it’s trying to ride the success of Hirunaka although this one has a blonde sensei and dark haired Mamura (who’s not shy). We have a country girl who under certain (very forced) circumstances, is now living in the big city. She bumps into a mysterious guy who cheers her up and discovers he goes to her school–but who is he? You guessed it! He’s a teacher! LOL. Okay, “counselor”. But setting the cliches aside, I’m wondering how it will develop.
11-year-old Niina is special. This is because she has the memories of her past life as a girl named Chitose still intact. Among these memories is a promise with Chitose’s boyfriend which Niina then decides to try and fulfill. But can she really do it?
